School system is fantastic- glistening newly renovated elementary and middle schools, and plenty of high school programs providing students with plenty of career developing opportunities. Anything possibly needed is within a 12 min drive - grocery stores, shopping, convenience stores, parks, and amazing restaurants. The town is prestigious with plenty of beautiful homes and streets to walk by. My family and I cannot imagine living anywhere else. Difficult to find a reasonably priced home unless it's a generational transfer or a small house to be torn down/renovated. The supermarkets are in neighboring towns. There is some diversity and a growing Asian population. Their close friendships developed in HS with kids from neighboring towns. The regional high school is excellent & provides a quality education. The small elementary & middle schools are quite nice & teachers/staff are dedicated, yet they are lacking in some arts programs. When you're recognized, there's always a wave as you pass by. I've observed police officers stopping kids for cycling without a helmet! It is the type of town where you will know who your neighbors are but may not know their names.
